Multi select Styling action lacks UI feedback

As shown in this image below. When using multi select and styling action lacks visual feedback. Here, although the toggle block is selected it did not give feedback.

Expected solution

Like the default toolbar styling action. When toggle is selected it gives visual feedback of it being selected.

@Srinath thanks for posting a nice markup of a proposed solution. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request though.
