THE BUG
If the text that I want to italicize or embolden via Markdown contains a solidus/slash character (“/”), and if the first character after what I want italicized or emboldened is a punctuation mark, the span is not formatted and the Markdown formatting characters are retained in the text.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
- Type text into a new note or page.
- Type
*
or_
or**
to initate Markdown formatting. - Type more text, being sure to include a solidus/slash (
/
). - Type a little more text.
- Type the closing
*
or_
or**
. - Continue typing…
