#### WHAT IS THE BUG

console log “instrument.ts:124 LaTeX-incompatible input and strict mode is set to ‘warn’: In LaTeX, \\ or \newline does nothing in display mode [newLineInDisplayMode]”

 ![image](https://community-static.anytype.io/original/2X/a/a8065bdcc23d8f6a3457a4ebeb4dec764d9377a1.png)

I know this is a warning, but I have a habit of looking at the console. Every time I use \\ or “\newline” to break a line, I will report this warning. I asked GPT if the method it gave me was to use “\n\n” or
“
katex.config({
strict: “ignore”
});
”
. However, the “\n\n” solution did not work

So I hope you fix this issue, a developer’s request

#### HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

input \latex and then input \\ or \newline
