Improve “Import in progress” through UI redesign

Hi.

Problem I thought would need a redesign
I would like to suggest a redesign concept I made yesterday. Actually, when I first imported my content from Notion, I got that “import in progress” popup showing (top left corner), and I thought it could be better integrated in the app, but that’s only my opinion. Please don’t take it the wrong way, I don’t want to dictate this redesign but just hint my idea.

My solution/alternative
I explained everything on the mockup picture below. Please zoom in so you can read properly what is described.

As Google Photos links are often considered as malwares here’s Virus Total scan to ensure you this is not a malicious link: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/c43e03320130eddfb65d1fe701825e74d5d9854fd74a2e834ed7525392ca09ca?nocache=1

Indeed it would greatly improve the process!

What a splendid mockup :clap:t2: Such attention to detail. So much that there seems to be no room for improvement.

The same could be implemeted to “checking for updates” pop-up (it’s not that important tho)

That mockup is really good, speechless.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I tried to import my Notion exports. The import popup just disappeared at the end, but I could not find the imported pages. There was no indication if import succeeded or not.

Describe the solution you’d like
Import popup should have some kind of status at the end, if it was successful or not. If successful how many pages/object were imported. If there were errors, they should be logged there as well.

Describe alternatives you’ve considered
I just tried importing single pages/sets to be able to see them at all.
