Image files disappear in File Set

Describe the bug

I created a File Set from the default File type (as inspired from the screenshots of the new Anytype website). Then I added a few files too a random page with the /file command.

When I add a PDF files they also get added to the file set but when I added image files (jpg) they appear on first view of the File Set, but disappear when you close and open the File Set page again.

The image files are still on the page where I added them. I have no filters on the current grid view of the File Set.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

    1. Create a File Set with the default File Type
    1. Go to a random page in Anytype
    1. Add an image file with the /file command
    1. Go to the File Set page and see the image being listed
    1. Close the Set pages and open it again, that image no longer being listed

Expected behavior

Expected images to stay in the File Set page.

System Information:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Anytype Version: 0.19.0 (desktop)

Images aren’t shown for me at all in a “File Set”.
I think thats the wanted behaviour to not mess up the files set with all images.
Though I get the confusion, that images should show up, that where added via the “/file” command.
But making two different behaviours for adding images with different output would also add even more confusion.

I believe you are right on that. I think files is for … well files. Since then I have made an Image Set that lists all the images which works as intended.

I believe we can consider this bug report closed or fixed or something. :wink:
