How to find the directory where data and images are saved. In need to make backup and copy to other machine.

You can use the hamburger menu in the top left.

I believe all your notes, relations and images are stored in the data folder.

You cannot acces data and images outside of Anytype if that is what you want, they are not (like Obsidian) just files stored on your harddrive.

Thanks for info. Will there be any functionality to refer images outside. Id it possible to back it up and put folders back and get all data in anytype?

If you mean, to use Anytype to edit files living on your HD? Yes eventually, but for now it’s as @Jeroen described. Imported files are effectively duplicated inside Anytype in order to be encrypted via your Recovery Phrase.
