How Do I add the Checkbox To Task Template?

I created a template for my To Do’s using the App standard Locked “Task” object. How do I get the empty but checkable :ballot_box_with_check: to show up? Thanks

You can either use the action layout which will add the checkbox next to the name basically or you can add a custom checkbox relation. To customize the layout of the object, you need to hover over the area above the object name to see the layout, cover and relations buttons.
