If I create a complex filter, then want to show all items in set, I have to delete the filter.
So either filter sets or global enable / disable would be nice

I definetly agree that toggles for sorting options would be nice as well as searchability of sets.
Meanwhile you can have multiple views in a set and set one without filter.

Do you still want to to request the “filter enable/disable” function?
You can always use a view for all.
Do you have applications, where such a function is implemented? In my opinion the current implementation looks more cleaner to me.
