When creating templates that are similar, I need to painstakingly create every one from scratch. I cannot just duplicate one an modify the bits that differentiate them.

I would like to be able to duplicate any object, an be prompted for the new name, right after it.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
I could choose to “Use as a template” for regular objects, but templates don’t have this option themselves.
