Drag and drop image (from web) / paste image link -> embed image

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I’m always frustrated when […]

When I drag and drop an image, it is being embedded correctly.
When I copy and paste it, the file path will be inserted as text or if it’s located on the web, a bookmark is being generated, but it won’t be embedded.

Describe the solution you’d like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

It would be great to be able to do the following things:

Drag and drop locally and have the image properly embedded as an image.

Copy and paste locally and have the image properly embedded as an image.

Drag and drop from a web page and have the image properly embedded as an image.

Copy and paste from a web page and have the image properly embedded as an image.

Copy and paste the link to an image and have the image properly embedded as an image.

In Notion the question pop ups, if I want to embed or if I want to create a bookmark. This would be nice, as well.

Describe alternatives you’ve considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you’ve considered.

There are no alternatives, which I can think of.

+1 for this feature.
I use screen capture often and paste the images directly in my notes.
However, the default is pasting them as an object but not as an embedded image.
It would be great to have an option to change the default behavior.

Please make this change in the next release - let us paste screenshots as image (embedded) instead of bookmark.

Those two are the same, aren’t they?
At least when I drag and drop an image into another edit it just pastes the link.
