Describe the bug
When creating an object out of a template, the template’s date metadata are inherited. Meaning, all object created out of a template will have the same:
- creation date
- last modified date
- last modified by
- last opened date
As that information are locked by the , we cannot correct them manually.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create a template for an object, example: the daily plan
- Wait for a day or two that the new Today is not the same as the day the template was created
- Create an object from that template without modifying or opening the template
- The object metadata should be wrong as specified earlier. Here is an example of a task created today (Nov, 11, 21)
Dates are not inherited from the template, but real object creation date etc.
- OS: Win10
- Anytype Version: 0.21.1
This is not a new bug, it’s pre-existing in previous versions
