### What’s The Bug?

(first: it’s _not_ [Cannot type date value into a date field in an object](https://community.anytype.io/t/cannot-type-date-value-into-a-date-field-in-an-object/22030) 🙂

if you enter a date in a date entry field ~~_for the second time_ (apparently)~~, it is not being used. ( **Update:** on first entry as well …)

### How To Reproduce It

- create a date field / relation / …
- enter a date, then click to edit it again
- enter a new date
- watch it not being used.

### The Expected Behavior

the date is accepted.

### Additional Context

this is not an DD/MM vs. MM/DD issue – my test dates were valid in both ways.
