Ctrl + Shift between text and code - HTML code appears

Describe the bug
I have written a text with some code inside. To place the code on the next line I removed the space between text and code. Now after pressing Ctrl + Shift a HTML code (<span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"></span>) appears.

This is only happening after removing the space between text and code. I also tried bold and italic - the new line is added as expected.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open a Document.
  2. Write some text with code (e.g. Hello World some code and more text).
  3. Remove the space between text and code.
  4. Press Ctrl + Shift (cursor still between text and code).

Now additional HTML code is visible:
<span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"></span>

The bug only happens if you remove the space and press Ctrl + Shift without leaving the block. If the cursor leaves the block after removing the space the bug doesn’t happen.

Expected behavior
The additional HTML shouldn’t be visible.

System Information:

  • OS: Windows 10 21H2
  • Anytype Version: 0.21.9

Tried to recreate it on Mac and the line didn’t even break. Tried it both with “Ctrl + Shift” and “Cmd + Shift” and nothing happened.

Checked keyboard shortcuts and it’s not a listed shortcut. So it’s either a Windows thing or it doesn’t exist anymore.

@sebro do you still experience this bug?

I tested again with version 0.25 and can’t reproduce the issue. This issue is fixed.
