Crash on Startup - Pixel 6 Pro

Describe the bug
Black screen on launch for 2-3 seconds followed by exit to home screen

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • on pixel 6 pro clicked the app icon
  • blackish screen displayed for 2-3 seconds
  • exits to home screen with no reason or input
  • repeated attempts results in same.

Expected behavior

  • expecting it to launch similarly as it does on my Samsung device

System Information:

  • android 12
  • pixel 6 pro
  • app version 0.5.2

I had the same issue, after retrying for a while it opens as usual.

  • OS: Fire OS 7.3.2.2 (based on Android 9)
  • Device: Amazon Fire 8 (10th generation)
  • Anytype Version: 0.5.2

I have tried the following:

  • I just lunching it multiple times
  • restarted, shut down wait, then restart phone and launch
  • tried changing back to Pixel Launcher from Nova Launcher.

Could it be a security issue that the app is not on Play Store and some google/pixel service is terminating it?

You could try clear the app data and re login to see if that fixes it

Go figure, that resolved it. I was about to reinstall next
