Columns in a set won't reorder properly

WHAT IS THE BUG

I created a set and a grid view and added relations (columns). Now I want to reorder them by drag and drop. This seems to be supported but it doesn’t reorder them properly. When I drag a column it moves to the destination but once I let go, it’s back where it came from. Sometimes an entire other colum gets moved.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Create set
  2. Create grid view
  3. Add a few relations (columns)
  4. Drag and drop a relation/column to another position.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The column should stay at the position where it was dropped. All columns should be able to be reordered this way.

Hi @margomius, could you record a short clip of this behavior? That might reveal specific steps you take that could help to identify or uncover the bug.

Sure, I added a video =)

That is definitely a bug, thanks for adding the video!

PS: you can upload video’s directly to the forum, which might be easier than uploading to YT first

Hi guys,

how do I know when this bug is fixed?
I’d like to subscripe to it becasue I can only use Anytype for my project when this issue is fixed.
In the Title it says “implemented” but I still have the bug in 0.31.0 So “implemented” might not mean what I was thinking at first.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for pointing that out, it was an error!

It should be fixed in the next-release, I’ve updated the status to reflect that.
