Check for Updates from System Tray - JavaScript Error

WHAT IS THE BUG

JavaScript Error appears when trying to check for updates from the system tray icon’s right-click context menu on Windows 11.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Right Click Anytype Icon in system tray
  2. Click ‘Check for updates’
  3. Error popup appears:

Uncaught Exception: Reference Error: UpdateManager is not defined

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I expected that Anytype would check for updates and show current version with respect to installed version.

SYSTEM INFORMATIONS

  • OS:
    Windows 11
  • Device:
    Windows PC
  • Anytype Version:
    0.28.0

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

Anytype was originally installed on Windows 10. Then OS was upgraded to Windows 11

Thank you, fixed

I still get the error.

System information:

  • OS: macOS Monterey, 12.4
  • Device: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
  • Anytype version: 0.28.0

The fix will be rolled out with the release that is planned for the end or September.
