Cannot open pdf on Android

Describe the bug
Whenever I try to open a pdf in the AnyType android app, I receive a toast message saying: “Could not open file: no Activity found to handle Intent { …et cetera }”. The pdf opens fine in the desktop (linux) app.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Store a pdf-file in the “original state”
  2. Click on the pdf in the android app
  3. pdf does not open, but app shows a flash message

Expected behavior
I expected that the pdf would open in one of the installed pdf apps or that I would receive a popup message asking me which app to use.

System Information:

  • Android 11 (Oxygen OS 11.0.13.13.KB05BA)
  • OnePlus 8T
  • Anytype Version: 0.6.0-alpha(0.17.27)

I can open attached PDF files on Android (0.6.1). How did you add the PDf to the Object? As a relation or as a block? If as a block, is it shown as an icon with filename or as a print preview of the PDF?

Closing the topic because there is no response. Please open a new topic or flag this one to be reopened if you still experience this issue.

Just to know a bit more, can you specify which app you that was opening the PDFs?

Yes, it automatically opens in Google Docs. I cannot change this behavior. When I open PDF files from other apps (like PDF attached to my email) I can choose which app to use to open the PDF file.
