### What’s The Bug?

I cannot create a task object from an inline query. When clicking “new” button from the query, nothing happens.

### How To Reproduce It

1. Create a page.
2. Create inline query for tasks.
3. Click “New” button to create a task.

### Image or Video

### The Expected Behavior

I would expect that after clicking “new”, a page would open with the task object for me to fill out, or to have a new task appear on the kanban board for me to complete.

### Additional Context

Weirdly enough the button does create a task but it is not displayed anywhere. I went into the Type “Task” and could see an “untitled” task for every time I clicked the “new” button.

Are you using the default Tasks query from the Task type? Also, could you please share which filters are you using?

Hi Filip,

Thanks for jumping in. The query is for the default “Task” type yes, I kept this as the only type of task.
I have two pages for work/personal stuff and both are behaving the same way.

The filters I’m using are:

And for my other query on my work page:

Unfortunately, I’m unable to reproduce it on the same version. Do you mind exporting the affected objects and sharing them with us and / or sharing a video of the issue?

Hey Filip,

Thank you for getting back to me, I’m not sure what happened since there hasn’t been an update but it seems to be working now 🤷
Only thing I’ve been doing is backing up my space, and editing a few types. Sorry we couldn’t pinpoint the root of the issue.

Thanks for the help!
