Backspace key do not delete mentions

Describe the bug

Mentions cannot be deleted by backspace key. The text cursor disappears and nothing happens when trying to do delete a mention using backspace. It will work using delete key with the text cursor before the mention.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

    1. Create a mention inside a block
    1. Use backspace to delete it. The first hit cleans the space; at the second hit the text cursor disappears and nothing else happens.

Expected behavior

When pressing the backspace key, the mention should be deleted.

System Information:

  • OS: Windows 8.1
  • Anytype Version: 0.19.0

Additional context

After the text cursor disappears, if I click after the mention, activating the text cursor again, the backspace key will work.

@Sedulous, it works sometimes. But then, for what seems to be random reason, it doesn’t. There are some mentions that, once the text cursor gets to the position right before or right after the mention, it simply disappears. Then I have to use the mouse to click somewhere to be able to continue to type.

Same issue for me, with the difference that instead of

System Information:
OS: Windows 8.1
Anytype Version: 0.19.0

I am using
OS: Linux Manjaro
Anytype Version: 0.23.5

I created mulitple mentions and were able to delete them all via backspace. Is this bug still happening to someone in 0.27.0?
