Auto Update Records When Template Has Changed

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Have a message come up that previous records using this template will be updated then update them if I choose yes.

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

Link records to original template. If I want to delete the template and there are records attached ask me if I want to apply the records to a different template.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Ive needed it several times in my first week of use. I’ve been using Tana a lot longer and constantly refining Super Tags that will update all records. It’s essential IMHO.

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES

Manually update and search out every record…yuk!

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

Did not see any. AND by the way it would be nice if I could sort the feature request by alphabetical to find headlines better. thanks

@edferrigan could you check whether the linked topic is similar enough for you to merge the two requests? For me, it reads like the two requests want to achieve the same end result although the foreseen implementation might slightly differ.
