Anytype stuck on deleting Objects from bin on Android

WHAT IS THE BUG

When I tried to permanently delete 17 Objects from the bin on Android, Anytype got stuck on the last four Objects. The spinner at the bottom stopped moving and the app became completely unresponsive, so I force closed the app.

Upon restating the app I tried again and then it worked fine.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Delete some Objects
  2. Go to bin on Android
  3. Select all Objects in the bin and choose “Delete”
  4. Confirm that you permanently want to delete these Objects
  5. After a while, the process becomes stuck.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

All Objects to be deleted.

SYSTEM INFORMATION

  • OS:
    Android 11
  • Device:
    Fairphone 4
  • Anytype Version:
    0.13.0

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

It worked fine on the second try, and I have not been able to reproduce the issue, but I hope this bug report helps the team to identify potential issues with the permanent deletion process.
