Announcing our new forum moderator team!

Hello Anytype community and thank you for your patience as we work to improve things here in the forums! As a first, significant step toward the improvements we all want to see here, we are excited to announce the formation of our moderator team, drawn from some of the most active and enthusiastic members of the community. In alphabetical order they are:

A round of applause for our new moderator team!:clap::clap:

These 5 people will help us comb through all the existing content here, merge duplicates, improve tags and titles, and more, then help us maintain high quality moving forward. We are so grateful to each and every one of them for volunteering to help the Anytype team and community!

How to get Moderator Attention

If you need to get moderator input on something, such as a duplicate topic that needs to be merged, usually the best thing to do is β€œFlag” the post and describe your reasoning as clearly as possible. You should avoid @ mentioning any specific moderator since they are all splitting the work here, and one person may not be able to reply to something for a while. You’ll get the quickest and best response by using β€œflag”. You can find out a bit more about how flagging works here:

If flagging is not an option for some reason, then you may send a private message to the @moderators Group, but please use this only as a last resort.

A Note on Moderator Selection

We are grateful to all our community members! Being selected to be a moderator is not an indication of β€œstatus” or a β€œreward”. The Anytype community needs a certain number of people willing to help maintain a good, well-organized, and useful community for all to enjoy. The moderators are donating their time and energy to make the forums better for everyone, but not everyone with time and interest needs to or will be asked to do so.

If you are interested in becoming part of the moderator team, the best thing you can do is remain active and engaged, and be helpful where you can, either by interacting directly with other members (answering questions, discussing feature requests, reproducing bug reports), or by flagging things for staff attention, suggesting improvements to the forum or other community areas, etc. Not everyone who contributes will become moderators, but we hope that helping out is also its own reward, and we appreciate each and everyone of you!
