Allow to change default background color of code

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

When formatting inline code with ` it changes into a monospaced font with a background barely distinguashible from the background of the page. You have to manually change the background to grey (which for my taste is still a little bit light). If you’re writing technical documents and want to highlight variables or something, changing the background everytime, becomes a pain in the ass.

Describe the solution you’d like

I would like to be able to change the background and color options for text highlighting on my own, preferably with a color wheel. It would be nice to add new colors to the dropdown menu and replace existing ones, most importantly the default value for the “Code” highlighting option.

Describe alternatives you’ve considered

An alternative would be that you change the default background for code highlighting to something like stackoverflow is using #e4e6e8

The current inline code looks darker, than it looked, when you posted this request.
Please check this in the current version.
