Multi block select is not possible.
Making tasks like deleting a lot of content not intuitive and slow.
Describe the solution you’d like
Enable selection over multiple blocks.

This has been added since this was posted.
It works for me:
- Exit edit mode (if you’re currently in it)
- Tap and hold on a block for a second or so
- When you let go the block will be selected by a yellow outline and you can tap other blocks on the current page to also select them

I can select multiple blocks on android with the icon indicated in the orange square:
