Accidentally deleted all sets on desktop (Windows)

WHAT IS THE BUG

Sets are unrecoverable.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. (On Windows Desktop) Make a new set
  2. Do not select an object type (will automatically select all sets in your Anytype)
  3. Select all the Sets
  4. Press Backspace
  5. Press the recover from Bin button (only recovers the most recent made set of all sets, but none of the sets you had before)

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Sets that were deleted by accident reappear, no need to reconstruct them. Or, at least a warning “you’re about to delete a bunch of sets you made!”

  • OS:
    Windows 10 Pro
  • Device:
    IdeaPad
  • Anytype Version:
    Not sure how to find this. Downloaded it today, so whatever version that is.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

This was a mistake on my part due to not being familiar with how Sets work, but was surprisingly easy to lose all the Sets I had already made, seems like something to optimize around.

Could you switch to “Bin” tab and see if you can find them?

Ok, yes it was in the Bin. I didn’t see Bin on the Windows app initially, but I found it now. Thanks!
