Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I’ve started manually importing a database from Notion, and it would be very helpful to be able to edit multiple Relations at the same time.
Describe the solution you’d like
I would love to be able to click and drag to select multiple objects in a set and edit that specific relation.
In the image above, I’d like to be able to select all those relations and set them to “Published”, but as of now, I have to click each object and set their relation. When dealing with dozens of objects, this gets cumbersome and time consuming.
The ability to bulk-assign a relationship value in a set. For instance, I might make dozens of new items in my to-do list. Then I want to assign a status to all, or a subset, of the new to-dos.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE
Two ways it might be implemented:
(1) Bulk-select some objects. Then click on any of the bulk selected items in the desired relationship column. Then choose a relationship value.
(2) Bulk-select some objects. Then right click the bulk selected items. Then click an option called “bulk-assign”. Then choose a relationship value
Selecting multiple objects and giving them all the same tag (or relation in general) at once.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE
Adding a relations option to the action menu when selecting one and multiple objects
REAL WORLD USE CASES
You have 10 bookmarks about receipts you wanna cook. Instead of opening every single bookmark and tag it with “receipt” you can simple select all objects/bookmarks and give them all the same tag with one action.
RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES
Tagging multiple objects at once would be already a huge deal. No need to implement a multi action for all relations.
Adding to that, would be good to have an easy way to select all entries currently shown in the Set, for when the desired change needs to be done to all of them (I guess could be CTRL A, though this might become tricky once inline sets arrive, as then we might have other blocks and sets in the same page/object).
By the way, do long Sets in Anytype paginate or lazy-load? (I never had more than a couple dozen entries, ao I don’t know) If they do, would be good to have a way to select all, even the non visible ones.

When I am studying a foreign language text I need to create a lot of objects for new vocabulary. But assigning tags for them one by one it is a pain.
Describe the solution you’d like
Ability to batch edit objects in a Set, like selecting some objects them editing a relation’s value for all of them at once.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
Edit objects relation values one by one
I would like to add that, it would be very helpful if I could select the status of tasks I have completed and mark them as done at once. This batch edit feature would come in handy in other situations as well, I think.
Also for the future a way to add automation type things like ''if a task is ticked, then mark as done; and If marked as done , then hide from view. Alternatively, "if marked as done, check archive and. “If archive is checked then change type to archive”. Things like this really help.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Thanks.
What’s the current priority for this? As you start to accumulate a lot of objects, this gets increasingly more important. Manually editing each object gets quite cumbersome quite quickly.
I will highlight this request in internal dashboard but overall there are too many “urgent” things around and we do not have capacity for this one at the moment. It is definitely in sight but ETA is unclear. If this post receive significant amount of upvotes we will increase priority for this feature
As new tester and in the middle of tedious export/import I would like to add my voice to these requests, bulk change for type objects (through right click on sets like we can already move to bin) would make the migration, therefore the adoption smoother for lots of users.
Set all relation values for an entire column in a set.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE
From the options menu shown when clicking the relation name in the header row. Below Relation Type / TYPE / SAVE could be a Relation Value select option.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
Recurring tasks with Statuses that get marked as In Progress and Done and need to be reset to To Do at the start or end of each day.
RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES
Setting the value for each set member individually.
I tend to change how I sort things in sets, so now I need to change a tag to a category… in a set of 100+ items. I REALLY wish this was doable all at once, or at least not one at a time.
