Ability to change the background color of inline sets and collections

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

As far as I can tell, it is not possible to modify the background color of inline sets and collections. This would be very useful (at least for me) to better separate inline sets/collections on the same page, in particular when they are side by side.

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

I imagine that an inline set could be treated like text blocks are, for instance. Click on the action handle (not sure what the exact name for it is), access the background menu and set the color with it.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

For instance, I use inline sets in my dashboard to collect tasks from different projects in the same place. I have a set for each project and it would be very convenient to be able to attribute a different background color to each set to find them more easily on the page.

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES

I could not find a workaround (or maybe I didn’t look in the right place).

As a workaround, you can drag it inside a colored block. There are a few issues with it, though, like the Gallery View’s cards don’t have padding on one side, and the List View’s objects have a white background color. (I was thinking of submitting an FR for a transparent background for that.)

It’s not perfect but it does work around the problem, indeed. Thanks!
